Neil Malone’s widow Anna, who lost him and their daughter Chloe in an accident years ago, returns to town with present lover Billy Moss to renovate the house she inherited from an aunt. I adored the first John Bronco short film from last year. It was hilarious and well fleshed-out. It also had a perfect runtime of just under 40 min. It was like a good album. However, this John Bronco follow-up film is significantly shorter (26 min) and thus feels like poor end-credit tag of the original film. There’s barely a storyline here, and what is here gets severely rushed and ends on a sour note. Overall, this just feels unfinished.
